Willow is a house designed for gathering. Wide lawns stretch toward the water, boats drift quietly past, and the rhythm of the river becomes the backdrop to the entire stay.

The home unfolds across two generous levels, with a bold modern exterior softened by natural timber finishes. Inside, the mood is warm and minimal, with floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the open-plan living spaces with light and framing uninterrupted river views. Designed by MAD Studio, the home balances strong architectural lines with natural materials that sit comfortably within the river landscape.

Upstairs, the main living area centres around a spacious kitchen, dining, and lounge zone that opens directly onto an expansive entertaining deck overlooking the water. A custom timber island bench anchors the kitchen – sculptural yet inviting – while the BBQ area and generous outdoor dining space make it ideal for long lunches, sunset drinks, and slow evenings outside.

Across six bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two fully equipped kitchens, the home easily caters to large or extended families while still offering privacy and separate living zones. Downstairs, a dedicated teenagers’ retreat includes its own lounge and second kitchen – perfect for larger groups wanting a little extra space.

Outside, the riverfront setting becomes the heart of the stay. A spacious lawned area rolls gently toward the water, ideal for games, picnics, or simply stretching out by the river.

Life at Willow moves to the pace of the river.

Mornings begin quietly – coffee on the deck as the water catches the first light. Boats glide past, the river calm and glassy before the day begins.

Afternoons are made for river swims, boat rides, and long lunches that spill across the deck. With generous indoor and outdoor living areas, the house shifts easily between shared moments and quieter corners.

As evening arrives, the deck becomes the gathering place. The BBQ fires up, the fire pit glows, and conversations stretch long after the stars appear.
