The Stay Edit uses artificial intelligence to support research, content development, communication and business administration. AI helps us work more efficiently while maintaining the personal curation, trusted recommendations and editorial standards central to The Stay Edit.

How we use AI

AI may assist with:

• market, destination and competitor research;
• business planning and analysis;
• drafting social media, website and communication content;
• organising information and completing repeatable tasks; and
• supporting administrative workflows.

AI is used as a support tool, not as a replacement for expertise, judgement or genuine human connection.

Human oversight

All public-facing AI-assisted content is reviewed, refined and approved before publication.

AI does not independently determine which properties are accepted onto The Stay Edit, whether they meet our curation standards or which stays are recommended to travellers. These decisions remain guided by research, established criteria and human judgement.

Accuracy and authenticity

We take reasonable steps to verify property information, claims and recommendations using operator-supplied information, firsthand experience and other reliable sources.

AI is not used to fabricate property information, reviews, testimonials or guest experiences. The Stay Edit remains responsible for the accuracy and integrity of its published content.

Privacy and confidentiality

AI is used with consideration for privacy, confidentiality and data security. Personal and commercially sensitive information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and appropriate safeguards are applied when using AI-assisted systems.

Continual improvement

We regularly review our AI practices, safeguards and relevant guidance. This policy will be updated as our use of AI, technology and industry expectations evolve.
