Set behind wrought-iron gates and framed by manicured gardens, Tanunda House is a grand 1910 estate reimagined for modern indulgence. With five king bedrooms (four with ensuites) and space to stretch out, it’s made for groups that like a little luxury with their wine.

Inside, you’ll find soaring ceilings, and beautiful heritage features blending seamlessly with spacious contemporary living. Outside enjoy expansive lawns, a solar heated pool, flood-lit tennis court, and an alfresco zone with a teppanyaki grill, bar, and large open fireplace that calls for slow evenings and second bottles.

Picture floor-to-ceiling glass in the main living space, plenty of parking, and lush garden paths for wandering between dips and dinners. Every corner is made for gathering where no one’s watching the clock.

Start slow with coffee in the garden or a lazy swim. Wander to nearby cellar doors, book in a private tasting, or rally the crew for tennis. Come evening, fire up the teppanyaki grill, find your way down the stairs to the private cellar to select a bottle of local wine and gather by the outdoor fire as the stars roll in.

You’re a short walk from Tanunda’s cafés, wine bars, and boutiques – but it’s entirely possible you won’t want to leave the gates.
