Kaiser Ridge – Eco Stay

High on a ridge in the Barossa Ranges, Kaiser Ridge is a collection of three secluded tiny houses surrounded by 32 hectares of native bushland.

Each sits quietly within the landscape, looking across the valley towards Kaiser Stuhl. Inside, the mood is warm and pared back – king beds tucked into lofts, fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms and wood fires made for cooler nights.

Outside is where each stay takes on its own rhythm. Kaiser has a private wood-fired hot tub overlooking the valley. Heritage brings an outdoor bath for two, while Serene offers more room for families or friends, with two loft bedrooms and space for four.

Private decks open to changing skies and wide valley views. Outdoor firepits draw evenings into the open air. Kangaroos, birdlife and the surrounding bush are part of the landscape here – close enough to Tanunda for a long lunch, yet removed enough to feel entirely elsewhere.

Kaiser Ridge is made for quieter days.

Wake with the bush outside and coffee on the deck. Wander the property without an agenda, find a lookout for sunset, or simply stay exactly where you are and watch the valley change with the light.

When the temperature drops, light the fire. Sink into the outdoor bath or wood-fired hot tub. Let dinner take its time.
