Set on private land overlooking Sleaford Bay, Eyre Way is a collection of three off-grid Tiny Abodes – Yambara, Maldhi and Bandari – designed to sit quietly within one of South Australia’s most spectacular coastal landscapes. Think sweeping ocean views, Port Lincoln National Park on the horizon and private access down to the beach.

Each abode has its own mood. Yambara is bright and airy, sitting just 80 metres from Sandy Point Beach. Maldhi is darker and more textural, perched on the edge of a gully overlooking the coastal cliffs. Bandari sits closest to the water, wrapped in native vegetation with warm peach, timber and terracotta tones.

Inside, king beds face the view, oversized windows pull the outside in, and natural textures keep everything soft against the rugged landscape. Outside, the landscape does the rest. Decks open towards the ocean, firepits set the scene for cooler evenings, and Sleaford Bay stretches out in front of you.

This is off-grid living, with a very good view.

Mornings start slowly here. Wander down to the beach, watch the water for whales, or stay exactly where you are and let the coastline put on the show.

If you do head out, some of the Eyre Peninsula’s wildest spots are close by. Surf at Fishery Bay. Find koalas among the gums at Mikkira Station. Explore the cliffs and untamed coastline of Whalers Way.

Then come home, pour something cold, settle in as the light drops over Sleaford Bay and watch the stars take over.
